We recently took a trip to Hillsboro's West Union Gardens to pick some sweet blueberries and the juciest, biggest blackberries you've ever seen. The day was hot, but we managed to snag a bundle of berries before heading home. Emmy jumped into a wagon and off we went!

Berries are always better with your friends!

Berry picking is a perfect toddler activity - it's healthy, tasty, fairly easy, and a little messy! Emmy loved picking berries and then either sampled them or put them in the bucket to take home.

West Union Gardens, located off of Cornelius Pass in northwest Hillsboro, not only has berries and vegetables available for picking, but rows of u-pick flowers as well. We didn't pick any flowers to bring home this time, but will definitely be back in the future.
